Michelle was called to the Bar in the Republic of Ireland in 2010 and gained experience at the Bar in a variety of areas of civil, criminal and family law. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2016.

Before joining Chambers Michelle was employed by a large Manchester based firm undertaking mainly Claimant work. Prior to that she was employed by a multi-national firm with a predominantly Defendant client base. While the majority of her practice is road traffic litigation (including credit hire, low velocity impact and fraudulent claims) for both Claimant and Defendants Michelle has also undertaken both EL/PL and industrial disease work with a focus on NIHL. She is also developing a family law practice and is hoping to undertake sports law having lectured in that field in the past.


Michelle has vast experience of providing advice on liability and quantum, in conference and on paper, and will endeavour to return all paperwork within 7 days of receipt. She has been involved in the delivery of seminars and will undertake training programmes for her professional clients.

Michelle accepts instructions on a CFA basis where possible to do so.

Outside of work Michelle leads a very active lifestyle and enjoys many forms of exercise. She enjoys spending time outdoors and is also a keen reader.
