Christine joined Chambers as a tenant in 2024 after successfully completing a common law pupillage under the supervision of Alex Williams.
During her pupillage, Christine gained experience in a variety of areas, including criminal law, civil law and inquests. Christine has experience of prosecuting and defending in both the Magistrates’ Court and the Crown Court and has acted for claimants and defendants in County Court proceedings.
Christine is an assured and client focused advocate, with strong attention to detail. She is eager to accept new instructions and to develop her practice.
Christine accepts instructions in Civil matters and has undertaken a range of hearings, including applications and trials.
She appears for claimants and defendants in personal injury and credit hire cases and has experience of Stage 3 hearings and infant
approvals.
Keen to expand her Commercial practice, Christine has undertaken instructions in various areas of Commercial law, including
PPI cases.
Throughout her pupillage, Christine gained experience of jury and non-jury inquests, and Article 2 inquests. She has also given
presentations at seminars on inquest practice and procedure.
Christine is a Level 1 CPS Prosecutor and regularly prosecutes in the Magistrates’ Court, as well as frequently prosecuting
appeals and committals for sentence in the Crown Court. She has also defended in both courts.
