Gillian practices exclusively in family law dealing with public and private children cases, domestic violence and financial matters.
In care proceedings she acts for parents, grandparents, Children’s Guardians and Local Authorities. In cases where emotions may be running high, she is known for her sympathetic, but straightforward approach. In private law she has dealt increasingly with cases of abduction or involving internal or external relocation, where speedy advice is often required.
She has wide experience of a range of financial relief and TOLATA disputes, as well as Schedule 1 applications. Gillian has three daughters with whom she enjoys watching musicals. She is a Trustee at a local Citizens Advice Bureau and an active fundraiser for various concerns.
